New Camera Features

We are excited to announce some new camera features for the AirIQ Fleet platform. They are available as of April 18, 2023.

• Manage Distracted Driving Events
• Camera Obstruction Event
• Possible Fatigue Event

Manage Districted Driving

You can now manage each distracted driving event individually. Each event can be turned on or off based on your requirements. This gives you the ability to further customize your fleet. Before this feature was available you could only turn on or off all the distracted driving events at one time.

Camera Obstruction Events

The AI-12 dashcam can now detect when something is blocking the driver facing camera. Unfortunately, there are some drivers that do not want to be seen and they will continuously cover up the camera. This is obviously bad for many reasons. However, the most important thing is to prevent it. This new event will now make that much easier. If the Camera Obstruction event is turned on then every time the driver camera is blocked the camera will beep and a video clip will be uploaded to your account.

Possible Fatigue Event

Falling asleep while driving is obviously very dangerous. Anytime a driver is fatigued the potential for an accident increases. This new event will now make it much easier to detect when a driver is potentially falling asleep. Every time a driver appears to fall asleep the camera will beep and upload a videoclip of the incident.
