Electronic Logging Device Facts The purpose of this blog is to provide an easy to use source for facts and requirements for electronic logging devices. Please refer to the FMCSA's ELD rule page for more details. All CDL drivers who keep a Record of Duty Status (RODS) will be required by the FMCSA to use an ELD by December 18, 2017. Enhancements Sensor Data Configuration for Mobile Viewer The Mobile Viewer Dashboard page has been enhanced to allow for the display of sensor data such as temperature, fuel, and battery level. The sensor data can be configured within Tools and Settings > General Settings > Map Display Options. Location List The Location List is a list of all the locations that a vehicle has visited. It includes stops, movements, and idling. The list makes it easy to review the vehicle's activities in an easy to use format. Every location includes a date and time, address (including city, state, and zip code), and speed.
